OneDrive document extraction

Half your supplier quotes never touched your inbox. They were saved to a drive folder months ago. ProcureMind lets you browse OneDrive from the dashboard and extract those PDFs and Excels where they sit.

From drive folder to structured data in three clicks

Connect Microsoft 365. One connection in Settings links ProcureMind to your Microsoft account: the same connection that powers Outlook extraction and Excel Online export.

Browse, don't sync. Click Browse OneDrive and a file picker opens on your drive contents, with breadcrumb navigation through your folders. Find the quote (PDF or Excel) and click it. Nothing is indexed in the background; ProcureMind reads the file you choose, when you choose it.

Review and save, tagged. The extraction opens in the review panel with per-field confidence scores, exactly like an email extraction. Save it, and the record lands in your dashboard history with its source tagged onedrive , so drive-sourced quotes stay distinguishable from inbox ones forever.

When OneDrive extraction earns its keep

The archive clean-up. A folder of last quarter's supplier quotes, saved as PDFs and forgotten. Extract them into structured rows and finally compare what you were actually paying, without opening forty files.

The shared-drive workflow. In plenty of teams, quotes get filed to a drive folder by whoever received them. Browsing that drive from the dashboard means the person doing data entry doesn't need the original email at all.

The scanned-PDF problem. Older quotes are often scans. OneDrive extraction runs the same OCR-and-vision fallback as every other path, so a scanned 2024 quote extracts almost as cleanly as this morning's email.

Frequently asked questions

How does OneDrive extraction work?

Connect Microsoft 365 in Settings, then click Browse OneDrive in the dashboard. A file picker shows your drive contents with breadcrumb navigation; click a PDF or Excel file and it goes straight through the extraction pipeline into the review panel. No download-upload round trip.

What file types can I extract from OneDrive?

PDF and Excel (.xlsx, .xls, CSV): the same formats as direct upload. Quotes, purchase orders, BOMs and RFIs are all classified automatically, whatever folder they were filed in.

Does ProcureMind scan my whole OneDrive?

No. You browse and pick individual files yourself. ProcureMind reads only the file you click, at the moment you click it. There's no background indexing, no folder watching, no bulk import.

Where do OneDrive extractions appear?

In the same review panel as every other extraction, and then in your dashboard history with the source tagged "onedrive", so you can always tell a drive-sourced extraction from an email one. From there, send the row to Google Sheets or Excel Online as usual.

Does it work with SharePoint document libraries?

The picker browses your OneDrive drive contents. Files stored in your OneDrive (including synced folders) are all fair game for extraction.

Does extracting a file change the original in OneDrive?

No. Extraction is read-only. ProcureMind reads the file you pick, structures the data, and never writes back to your drive. The original PDF or Excel sits exactly where it was, untouched; the extracted data lives in your ProcureMind dashboard and wherever you send it.

The quotes in your drive are data waiting to happen.
